Photography has been the wellspring of all the work contained on this site. My earliest experience with photography goes back to early childhood when I began taking pictures with a box camera given to me by my maternal grandparents. With the encouragement of two amateur photographers in my hometown and my mother's interest in photography I set out on a long journey of observing, recording and transforming experiences into new forms sometimes very direct and often extended to interactive works and video.
